Ray was born in Northfork, West Virginia and graduated from Northfork High School. He graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Arlington, then later graduated from SMU Law School with a JurisDoctor degree. During this time he performed as a professional musician and was the leader of his own group named the Ray Wray Quartet. Ray sings and plays trumpet and valve trombone. He worked for 20 years as a private practice attorney before retiring in the mid 1980s. In 1996, his son Jason convinced him to join him in the opening of Century Insurance Agency. Ray is married and has three adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. He enjoys attending his grandsons' games, gardening, watching professional sports, and traveling. He and his wife live in Corinth. |
