JASON HELAL

President

Jason is a 1986 graduate of Denton High School and 1990 graduate of University of North Texas. He was born in Dallas and grew up in Lake Dallas. Jason was a starting defensive end on the 1985 Denton High School Bronco football team that advanced to the Texas State Regional Finals. Jason began his insurance career right out of college in 1990 and founded Century Insurance Agency in 1996. Jason is involved in both personal lines and commercial lines as a business development and marketing officer. He is married with three children, two dogs, and two birds. Jason and his family are actively involved in their church, Denton Bible Church. Jason's interests are just about all sports, coaching his kids' football, basketball, and baseball teams, and traveling with his family. He is a huge life-long fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers.

RAY HELAL

Personal Lines Agent

Ray was born in Northfork, West Virginia and graduated from Northfork High School. He graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Arlington, then later graduated from SMU Law School with a JurisDoctor degree. During this time he performed as a professional musician and was the leader of his own group named the Ray Wray Quartet. Ray sings and plays trumpet and valve trombone. He worked for 20 years as a private practice attorney before retiring in the mid 1980s. In 1996, his son Jason convinced him to join him in the opening of Century Insurance Agency. Ray is married and has three adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. He enjoys attending his grandsons' games, watching professional sports, playing cards and traveling. He and his wife live in Corinth.

JEFF RICHARD

Agent

Jeff has made Denton is home since 1970. He is a proud graduate of Denton High School. He played both football and baseball for the Broncos and was voted the Most Valuable Player on the football team his senior year. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1979 with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. Jeff has been in the insurance industry since 1982 and has served the greater Denton area since 1986. he has been the President of his local National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors of North Texas (NAIFA-NT). He is a member of the Denton Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Denton-Wise County Board of Realtors, and a Director of the Sports Ministry of North Texas. He has been married to his wife Amy since 1979 and they have one Daughter Amanda, and two miniature schnauzers. Jeff has a passion for serving his customers. His personal business philosophy is to always treat others as he would like to be treated. He has been actively involved in two wonderful local churches: First Baptist Church and Denton Bible church. Jeff is also involved in Bible Study Fellowship. In his spare time Jeff enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, and cheering on his daughter's Texas Longhorns!

RYAN MARCHAND

Personal Lines Agent

Ryan is a Denton resident and graduated from Denton High School and the University of North Texas. He was a starting offensive tackle on the 1985 Denton Bronco football team that advanced to the Texas Regional finals. Ryan has been in the insurance industry in Dallas/Fort Worth since 1993. Ryan is married with two children. Ryan's hobbies include coaching his two children's soccer and basketball teams, hunting, mountain biking, and just about any outdoor activity he can find. Ryan enjoys college and professional sports and is a fan of the Dallas Mavericks. Ryan's family is from Green Bay, Wisconsin and he is an avid Packers fan!

GAIL WILLIS

Office Manager

Gail is married with three children. She and her family live in Valley View, Texas. She graduated from Ardmore High School in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She's been in the insurance business since 1993. Her interests include watching her sons play sports, shopping, and spending time with friends. Her interests include music and travel. Her favorite vacation was to the Greek Isles. She enjoys the Dallas Cowboys and is a huge OU Sooner fan!

ROBIN WELCH

Receptionist

Robin is married with 2 kids and lives in Krum, Texas. Robin is a proud graduate of Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas. Her interests include spending time with family and friends and watching her daughter play high school softball. Her favorite vacation was with family to Breckenridge and Keystone, Colorado. She enjoys watching her favorite sports teams, the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys!

TERRI PETTY

Personal Lines Manager

Terri was born in Dallas and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1981. For most of her life Terri lived in the Lewisville and Denton area. Terri lived and worked in the insurance business in a small East Texas town for 9 years. She has been in the insurance industry for over 10 years. Terri's interests range from riding horses and fishing to gardening and decorating. She has one son and one beautiful grandson. She is a big fan of the Dallas Mavericks.

LIZ CARTER

Insurance Agent

Liz has been in the insurance industry for 26 years. She started her insurance career two years after North Dallas High School. She received her Solicitors License in 1994 and then her Life & Health license in 1997. In 2007 she received a designation of Accredit Customer Service Representative and in 2008 she received a designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative. She was born and raised in Dallas but has called Denton home since 1986. She has 3 children and two grandchildren who are all her pride and joy. She loves to go camping, fishing and spending time with her family. Her favorite baseball team are the Texas Rangers and is an avid football fan.

BEN PRIDDY

Personal Lines Agent / Prosper Office

Ben grew up in Lake Dallas and graduated from Lake Dallas High School. He earned a BA in Psychology at The University of Texas at Dallas and is a certified mediator. He has been in the insurance business since 1991, and has worked as an Underwriting Supervisor for State Farm for 9 years. He made the career change to join the agency business in 2005, when Jason recruited him to Century Insurance Agency, Inc. Ben is the agent in charge of our Prosper office. Ben was an excellent high school athlete, a letterman in football, basketball, and track. He and his wife live in Corinth with their two children and two dogs. They are actively involved with First Baptist Church of Corinth. Ben's interests are playing sports with his kids and coaching them in football, baseball, and basketball, riding horses, watching sports and just about anything outdoors.

JUSTIN NALL

Personal Lines Agent

Justin was born in Pampa, Texas. He graduated high school from the Advanced Training Institute International. Justin attended the A.L.E.R.T. Academy and has received training in firefighting, high angle rescue, land search and rescue, and has his EMT certification. He majored in diving and is a certified search & recovery diver and rescue diver. From 1998 to 2002, Justin worked in real estate and property management. He has a BA degree in real estate from Suffield University. In 2002, Justin joined Century Insurance Agency and has become a top performer in sales and service. Justin lives in Corinth and is married with three children. He and his family are members of Valley Creek Church in Flower Mound and are very active in several ministries there. Justin attributes all success in his marriage, family, and business to God's blessings and grace. In his spare time, he also enjoys reading, playing golf, mountain biking, softball, and spending time with friends. Justin is also an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas A&M Aggies fan!

MARK RODEN

Mark manages the Life & Health insurance division of Century Insurance Agency. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry from both the claims and marketing perspectives. Mark played baseball at Lewisville High School and graduated 56th in his 1985 class. He went on to graduate from UNT in 1989 with a degree in Strategic Management. Mark is a former President of The Southwest Insurance Association (Dallas Chapter) and past Chairman of the Board for Noteworthy Ministries. Currently Mark is Dave Ramsey's Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) and enjoys being a children's leader for Bible Study Fellowship International. Mark married his LHS sweetheart Lisa and they have 4 children and live in Argyle, TX. They love to cruise and will be doing so on their 20th wedding anniversary in 2010.

DAN MARTIN

Commercial Lines Agent

Dan manages the commercial insurance division of Century Insurance Agency. He has 20 years experience in commercial real estate and business development. Dan was named the Denton Chamber of Commerce “Business Man of the Year” in 1994 and has served on numerous community and civic boards in Denton County. He attended public school in Gainesville, Texas and later graduated form Oklahoma State University with a BS degree in Law Enforcement Administration and a minor in Engineering. Dan worked for 20 years in law enforcement prior to his business career. He is a graduate of the National FBI Academy, served as President of the North Texas Chiefs' Association and as Chief of Police for the University of North Texas until his retirement in 1986. Dan has three daughters who grew up in Denton. He also has two grandchildren in Sioux City, Iowa. He is a member of Southmont Baptist Church and currently serves as Vice President and Board Member for the Family Resource Center of North Texas. Dan enjoys playing basketball and golf in his leisure time.
