Dan manages the commercial insurance division of Century Insurance Agency. He has 20 years experience in commercial real estate and business development. Dan was named the Denton Chamber of Commerce “Business Man of the Year” in 1994 and has served on numerous community and civic boards in Denton County. He attended public school in Gainesville, Texas and later graduated form Oklahoma State University with a BS degree in Law Enforcement Administration and a minor in Engineering. Dan worked for 20 years in law enforcement prior to his business career. He is a graduate of the National FBI Academy, served as President of the North Texas Chiefs’ Association and as Chief of Police for the University of North Texas until his retirement in 1986. Dan has three daughters who grew up in Denton. He also has two grandchildren in Sioux City, Iowa. He is a member of Southmont Baptist Church and currently serves as Vice President and Board Member for the Family Resource Center of North Texas. Dan enjoys playing basketball and golf in his leisure time. |
